LoRayne Logan is Founder/President of workplace staffing and search, a certified wholly woman owned business, specializing in behavioral and safety based approaches to employee selection and placement. workplace has been listed in Forbes and Fortune magazines as one of the 10 Most Dependable Executive Search Firms and Staffing Agencies in the Midwest.
Actively involved in Rockford, LoRayne is chair of the City of Rockford Fire and Police Commission where she was instrumental in the selection process for a new police chief and a new fire chief. The Commission oversees hiring and promotion within the departments. She is a member of the Steering Committee for Transform Rockford and serves as Engagement Team lead for the initiative. She is vice president of the Rock Valley College Foundation board and serves as a co-chairs fundraising efforts for the Engineering our Future program.
In 2013 LoRayne was recognized by the Rockford Chamber of Commerce as Woman Business Owner of the Year and received the Service Above Self award from Rotary Club of Rockford. In 2011 LoRayne was named by the Rockford Chamber to the inaugural group of 20 People You Should Know. In 2007 she was named Philanthropist of the Year for her gift to Rock Valley College to commemorate the College’s newly renovated library as the Estelle M. Black Library. In so doing she acknowledged the legacy of an accomplished librarian and Rockfordian who had been her mentor and inspiration.
